Organised by the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy’s Risk Prevention Directorate, this 3rd edition of the National Conference on Natural Risks is taking place on March 22nd & 23rd, 2016 in Marseille’s Palais du Pharo.
The Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy (MEDDE) organised the National Conference on Natural Risks for the first time in January 2012, in Bordeaux’s Palais des Congrès. The goal of the conference is to bring together all the actors (regional authorities, government services, scientists, companies, civilian representatives, etc.) involved in managing the risk of disasters to measure the efficiency of actions undertaken in the past and to consider prospects for the future together. They also bring together the actors of the French platform for the prevention of natural risks, set up in the framework of the UN’s natural disaster prevention strategy (ISDR).
For this 3rd edition, TENEVIA is one of the partner companies and will be exhibiting its flood monitoring innovations.
