TOTAL S.A. has offered financial assistance to TENEVIA in the framework of TOTAL Regional Development’s support to innovative SMEs.
This assistance to innovative SMEs was set up by TOTAL Regional Development (TDR) to back the innovation and growth of French SMEs, particularly in sectors where TOTAL can contribute technical expertise. Since its creation in 2012, 35 companies have been assisted under this system, for a total investment of 9.5 million euros.
The decision to back TENEVIA’s development is based on a series of internal assessments by TOTAL and the decision of a specific committee made up of TDR partners and TOTAL’s different entities (Scientific, Public Affairs, Sustainable Development, Direction Refining & Chemicals, Marketing & Services, Exploration & Production, Legal and Financial). With innovations that offer new prospects in the field of environmental metrology, TENEVIA is contributing to the development of renewable energies.
